MICRO CHANNEL HEAT EXCHANGER

A we all know that now a days we all are working on reducing the space for performance of the same work example initially computer requires a space of room during 80s as on today we can perform a same/ better amount of work in the tiny and device now a days, similar the micro channel heat exchangers are developed for the high critical application where space and weight of the component plays a significant role the material is developed a very tiny sizes and if required using an nanomaterial can be used for better heat extraction rates which are used in the special applications like space, nuclear, aviation & military.

FUEL COOLED OIL HEAT EXCHANGER

Thermovac Aerospace develops the (FCOC) Fuel cooled oil cooled heat exchanger / Fuel Oil Heat Exchanger (FOHE) the fuel cools the hot oil and the oil heats the fuel for combustion. Fuel flowing to the engine must pass through the heat exchanger; however, there is a thermostatic valve that controls the oil flow, and the oil may bypass the cooler if no cooling is needed A fuel/oil heat exchange system is proposed for an aircraft gas turbine engine for heating fuel leaving the aircraft fuel tanks before it enters the engine fuel system. The proposed system eliminates the separate fuel heater. The oil system is designed so that the fuel is not overheated at the hottest engine conditions, and the fuel/oil heat exchange system is made to increase the temperature of the oil if the fuel temperature drops below a pre-determined limit. Example for usage FCOC is The Fuel Cooled Oil Cooler (FCOC) / Fuel Oil Heat Exchanger (FOHE) exchanges heat between the engine oil and fuel streams. Heat is exchanged in such a manner that the engine oil is cooled whilst the fuel is heated up.

PHASE CHANGE MATERIAL HEAT EXCHANGER

Phase Change Material Heat Exchanger where the heat exchanger uses the phase change material to maintain temperature as name indicates material changes phase from liquid, solid or gas to maintain the temperature now a days lot of lot of research work is going on for the development of the PCM Heat Exchangers so that we can save lot of energy and material studies are going on to find the suitable material based on the applications and selection of the phase change material gives a major role in the development of phase change material heat exchanger development Thermovac Aerospace has developed and supplied the phase change material selection for the material based on their specific requirement
