Vacuum Heat Treatment
Heat treatment in a high-temperature vacuum furnace prevents the adverse effects of oxygen, to create a vacuum, air (and oxygen) is removed from the furnace during vacuum heat treatment.
To achieve the desired properties while protecting the part’s surface, the part can be heated in a vacuum with or without an inert gas. The metal is quickly cooled, as in traditional heat treatment.
Vacuum heat treatment has several advantages, including improved material strength, high thermal efficiency, and no oxidation, decarburization, or carburization.
We have a dedicated thermal processing unit for Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Automobile and Tooling Industries. We are capable of thermal processes at various temperature & vacuum levels with a completely automated process to meet precision & quality requirements of customers.

Vacuum Hardening
Vacuum hardening is the hardening of components under a controlled partial pressure, during which temperatures of
up to 1,300°C can be reached. The aim of this process variant is the creation of bright metallic workpiece surfaces which render further mechanical processing unnecessary.
Aging
During the aging process finely dispersed precipitate particle will be form. Aging the alloy at the room temperature is called natural aging, whereas at elevated temperature is called artificial aging. At Thermovac Aerospace our heat treat experts are well trained and having an in hand experience to perform the aging process. When the aging process occurs at room
temperature, the chemical properties of newly cast and forged metals will transform and settle very slowly. Artificial heat aging involves much higher temperatures and accelerates the process of changing and settling. This process of aging ensures a high degree of quality and a level of accuracy that can meet the standards of very precise specifications.
Stress Relieving
Stress relieving is the process done to relieve the internal stresses of the material which is caused because of heat treatment stress, forging stresses, machining stresses the process is carried out below the lower critical temperature ( heat treated parts below the tempering temperature performed so that material hardness cannot be affected). During the stress relieving process the grain distribution will be spread
uniform all over the material and all stresses which are accumulated at the specific area is going to relieve so that the material can perform better and give the superior results. we have trained operators as per the requirements of AMS 2769 C for material specific requirements and they can comply as per the product specifications.
Normalizing
Normalizing is the heat treatment process which is done to make the material soft and uniform and fine grained structure all over the material during the normalizing process material is heated to above the upper critical temperature that is austenize temperature and then material is slowly cooled to achieve the desired metallurgical structure usually normalizing process is done after the forging, casting and rolling. At Thermovac Aerospace our trained operators are qualified to perform the normalizing process based on the product requirements we have inhouse testing facility to verify the results after the processing.
Annealing
Annealing, treatment of a metal or alloy by heating to a predetermined temperature, holding for a certain time, and then cooling to room temperature to improve ductility and reduce brittleness. At Thermovac Aerospace our trained operators are qualified to perform the annealing process based on the product requirements we have inhouse testing facility to verify the results after the processing.
Solutionizing
Solutionizing heat treatment process as the name indicates material is solutionized so that all the alloying elements will be distributed evenly entire the material and process heated above the solvus temperature and soaked there until a homogeneous solid solution is produced. The precipitates are dissolved in this step and any segregation present in the original alloy is reduced.
